We offer a wide range of social, training and support activities and groups out of our two Neighbourhood Centres such as playgroup, walking group, self help and support groups, art, craft and well-being activities and an after school homework study group. These activities and events help community members learn new skills, give you the opportunity to run your own group or project or participate more fully in your community. Sometimes you may be looking for extra support or help, our Community services team can provide assistance to help you find the right information about services and connect you with people or other services who can help.
The team can also provide assistance with documentation, letter writing, form filling and even typing.
The Neighbourhood Centres, located in Nowra and East Nowra, are a warm and welcoming place that everyone can access. At the Centres you have access to computers, internet, photocopying services, showers, meeting rooms and book swap libraries.
Our community services team also work with partners to organise and run events in the community which is a great way to connect with other services and people.
