Confidently Returning to The Workforce

Great story of how volunteering can make a difference in your life

Anxiety and depression had made David feel disconnected from people and work opportunities when he first approached Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services.

Through Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Service’s volunteer program, he developed the confidence and skills to complete Certificate III in Community Services at TAFE and apply for a paid support worker job.

Now David is back in the workforce supporting people with a disability and older people to connect with the community.
