Position Vacant: Administration Assistant
Part-time fixed term contract until June 30th 2020
(with possibility to extend, subject to funding)
Hours: 19.5 hours per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs 9am-4pm)
Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services provide a range of essential community services via the operation of two neighbourhood centres, community development initiatives, and delivery of Social Support to people over 65 and personalised services to participants with an approved NDIS plan in the northern Shoalhaven region.
A vacancy has arisen in our team for a skilled and enthusiastic administrative dynamo to deliver effective and efficient support in accurate data collection, reporting, creating publications and documents, preparing and organising regular social support activities and building effective relationships with those we support, volunteers, staff and other stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with a passion for community, a positive attitude, and who is flexible but also reliable and committed to making a difference in the lives of our community. We need someone with superior attention to detail and a willingness to learn and be responsive to the on-going changes in the Aged Care and NDIS industry.

⦁ Certificate III in Administration or equivalent or lesser formal qualifications with substantial years of current relevant experience.
⦁ Demonstrated experience in office Administration involving one or more roles with Key Performance Indicators and responsibilities.
⦁ Demonstrated knowledge, skills and proficiency in the use of Computer software packages e.g. Microsoft Office suite and database applications.
⦁ Keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 40wpm
⦁ A passion and commitment to delivering quality services
⦁ Capacity to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team and meet deadlines
⦁ Current drivers licence and willingness to use own vehicle (which is covered by comprehensive insurance) for work purposes.
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
⦁ Exceptional attention to detail
⦁ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
⦁ Experience working within a not for profit organisation or similar
⦁ Knowledge of other local Community Services Organisations
⦁ Experience using Office 365 applications
⦁ Experience working with people over 65 and/or people with a disability
Salary: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Industry Award 2010 – Level 2, Pay Point 1 to 4 depending on qualifications.

⦁ To be an active participant in the organisations cross functional teams.
⦁ To attend appropriate development and training courses.
⦁ Adhere to Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services Incorporated Policy and Procedures and the constitution.
